    what would a tie rod have to do with the wheel shaking?

      I currently experiencing the same thing. A buddy of mine who's a mechanic told me when we were installing the new shocks, inner and outer tie rods that the driver side axel needed replacing. Surely enough 2 weeks later I began feeling the shake when accelerating and braking

      I'll be replacing this week

        If it's the outer tie rod you would feel some drifting. Inners on the other hand nothing. But given what the OP has said that is deff a CV joint taking a dump for sure.

          Your axles could have gotten out of balance or you have bad CV joints. Usually happens more commonly on lowered cars.

            bad or improperly installed axles or a blown shock or torn bushings or broken motor mounts or a bent wheel or unbalanced tires or a bad alignment
