    issues with major drop

So this is going to be a progress/question thread for those who have dealt with these issues before.

I just went from tokico blues with tokico springs to tien ss coilovers, and dropped them all the way and had mad mad bumping going on. I raised it to one finger gap, which is where the rear sits at. I have adjustable upper balljoints for camber, though I haven't gotten around to setting then for the new drop yet. I know the tire is.hitting the metal wall that extends down that is covered by the plastic under cover, so I am going to work on bending and maybe minor cutting. I don't think I am having issues with the controll arms, but it's.hard to tell the dif in sound so I will eliminate one problem first. Also, do I need to put bumpstops on the coilovers? I don't know.that it is compressing that far as the tire had two inches till the plastic, but input would.be nice.

I have stance picks in my thread and I will post progress pics later. I want to avoid major cutting and hammering, but make it so I can keep a really good stance. It's not rocket science,.but it's always done and not really documented so I feel it's a notable contribution.

Tiens are too soft for slammage especially if you got the intro level coiloverkit. You if you want slammage you need a monotube coilover like d2 or ksport. Alot of people like f2 type 2 because they are a more comfortable twin tube designed strut

simply put you either need to raise the car or buy stiffer suspension. Also a poly bushing kit will help alot but is only for fine tuing a preexisting functional setup

Yeah I was wondering about that as well. They are the adjustable Ss kit. I don't need it all the way down, but I want too see how much lowering I can buy with this setup.

if you want that flush look.you need more then just the coilovers and a camber kit bro.
try replacing the lca bushings and balljoints as well.trust me they make a big difference.im pretty dumped on f&f type ones.but most of my suspension is brand new along with the coilovers.

but your coilovers should be more then good enough for a flush car.work on the rest of the suspension.it will help with the rubbing.

Yeah I'm aware those will help some but only so much as its been a while but just about everything has been replaced suspension wise before as I have had this car 8 years, and much is going to be re replaced soon again. The wheels are also on the heavy side, streets suck around my way and unless I run much higher spring rate coilovers with really high dampening I must do some modification to what it is hitting if I want to keep the most drop possible.

Is the UCA hitting the shock tower?
