Where to place the floor jack for rear end?

    Hey guys,
I want to lift my the whole rear of the car so I could put the 2 jack stands under without having to jack one side at a time. I have a low profile jack. I see that the EX has the towing hook in the rear but my model is 90 LX Sedan and it does not have a rear hook. Could lift it up at the location I am pointing at in the photos? I don't want to hit the gas tank. Lol.
    Thanks.

Viewing the photo that you have provided & going straight back from where you are pointing, we can see the cross member that joins what I believe to be the rear lower control arms for the rear wheels. I've lifted many times by placing the pad of a floor jack on that cross member, though as you'll notice - it gets you very close to the fuel tank. The cross member is strong enough to lift by & I've never hurt the ones I've lifted by - but as you recommend yourself - stay off the fuel tank.

I ended up jacking each side at a time. My floor jack has a black rubber pad already on it.
