well in the process of replacing my brake rotors i was taking the lower ball joint out and (like the moron i am) hit it with a hammer to do so, slightly messing up the threads. but i got that semi fixed with the help of a real small flat head and a razor blade. with the lower ball joint still not out i put a nut back on so i wouldn't hit the threads again. eventually i get the ball joint out but now the i cant get the damn nut off because it was real tight on the beginning threads where i hit it and the ball joint rotates with it.
i hope you cam make sense of my situation, its pretty late and im tired
im going to get a new ball joint now but i still need a way to get the current one off. the only thing i can think of is just going away at it with a hack saw but for now im open to suggestions.
ive already tried putting weight on the joint by lowering the car so the weight is on the lca on a stand but it still spins...
