Before Installing Rear Strut Bar

would i have to remove the 2 bars that cover the rear strut mounts before i install some strut bars?

Upper or lower? Are you referring to the rear deck to floor bracing behind the rear seat?

If so, no, you don't need to remove anything to install a Rear-Upper strut tower brace. Simply agle the ends of the bar, one before the other, appropriately to fit it behind the bracing and over the studs of the strut and bolt it all in once it's been adjusted properly.
