AGX and H&R race/ SBC camber kit

What up guys? So i searched and found a bunch of old threads that have some info relating to this but I still had questions. So im sure there is a couple people on here that have this setup or close to it. So i have my AGX on there way along with the H&R race springs and am going to do a camber kit. Do to new info i found according to Tenji you can take out and replace the ball joint on the cb7's. Im going to go with the SPC ball joints. I dont have the bump stops in my suspension any more, took them out a couple years ago before i knew what i was doing but am looking to replace them if needed. Will i have control arm clearance problems with this setup? Im guessing it is about a 2" drop. It seems like no matter how low your drop is the ball joint kits always hit is this true?

i don't have any ball joint camber kit experience but yes they are removable. i have the slide bushing type camber kit. with mine, the arm does hit. it was necessary for me to shave the arm a bit to clear.

with a ball joint camber kit, i can almost be sure that this problem will happen too. however the arm won't be the problem here. the ball joint itself will start to have clearance problems, and this seems like a worse problem than just the upper arm hitting.

on top of that, having no bumpstops will make matters worse. the lack of them will make the suspension travel more thus enabling the arm and/or ball joint to strike the wheel well. i suggest to put back the bumpstops immediately.

if you want to use the ball joint, you can only adjust to a certain limit until you start running into clearance problems. this depends on you drop too. just make sure you have the bumpstops in. you will need those no matter what camber kit or lowering springs you will use (although you should trim the bumpstops to a smaller size compared to stock).

Thanks, thats kinda what i figured. I've heard that the adjustable bushings tend to slip thats why i want the ball joints. By the way i love the way your car looks on those rims.
