    Help! Coilovers possibly seized.

Trying to raise my car up a little today, and when i tried to turn the nuts with my spanner, they wont budge at all. Hoping they didn't seize... any ideas for ways to get them loose?

you should have 2 spanner wrenches and 2 nuts (adjustable perches). Using the two spanner wrenches you will want to first break the hold each has on the other....this will help in lessing the amount of thread your trying to turn at one time. Get them separated, raise the perch and then bring the bottom nut up to the top nut to tighten it all up.

Some WD-40 and a flat head and a hammer should do the trick.

Yes, indeed a solution would be nice to read about, if this is NOT a user error.
Also, please .. for future referance .. can you let us know what brand coil-overs these are?

For those doing future searches, it may be helpful.

^^^This, I had the same issue and they really just needed to have the threads cleaned since they were so dirty and then little extra force to break them loose. as soon as they are loose spray some more WD40....Etc.. and that should help allow them to spin freely.
