    I love my omni's

    comparison:

    drop with them on

i got the sports(12k/10k), theyre stiff as hell and i love them. the cornering is amazing. and when i had a friend in the front and his "big" brother in the back... the rear suspension only dropped about a 1/4".

and what i love most about them... theyre self-aligning ok, not really. but i went to get an alignment today and i had a -1 degree all the way around. and toe was either 0 or 1/32nd.

im in san jose. youre welcome to see how they feel. but theyre gonna be alot stiffer than the basics. these are 12/10... the basics are probably something like 6/4. i think these are an aquired taste, but i lovem.

          zoomspeed05:
i actually got them on discount cause a friend on mine owns a shop, for $525.

yea, a friend of mine did that in his car, but its a drag only. i figure since i have alot of weight up front, it would be better if i left them how they came.

how much higher can you have them? I'd hate to get them and not be able to raise them up in the winter.
and what tire ratio is that you're running?

you would be able to raise them alot. i loosened the top nut and moved the spring perch up as much as i could... im not sure about the backs, but the fronts are as low as they will go with adjusting the lower collar only.

and those are 205/50/16. perfect fit imo.

nice. i like those alot. is it pretty bouncey?(sp) does the rear end buck due to stiffness?

as far as camber goes, would you recommend a kit if i get these and lower as much as you? i'm getting these probably in the next couple months. also, like previously asked, is the rear really stiff and bouncy? i've only heard good things about these though...

yea, you definetly need a camber kit. if i didnt have one i would be somewhere around -4°, which is terrible.

and the ride is very very stiff. a little bouncy at times but only cause some of the freeways around here are pretty shitty. but what people are getting confused with what "bouncy" is. if you wanna call these a little bouncy, you can, but its due to the fact that theyre extremely stiff, so you feel alot of little bumps. BUT, if you go over a larger dip in the road the car doesnt rock up and down like a boat on water. it just goes down with the road and stops.

but then again, you can always get the street version, which is only 10k/8k. but personally id rather have it a little too stiff. i didnt wanna spend all that money and not have it be stiff enough.

also an added note to give you an idea on how stiff these are, if thats what you want. two different friends, one with a eg hatch w/sustec pro street's and another with an integra on n1's... these are stiffer than both of those setups.
