Have not heard of a sway bar failing. I think Progess makes a decent sway bar.
btw progess sway bars are "ok", I hate how low they are. plus they dont attach the same way as the OEM. get tanabe

yea i just went to their website have to drill and all this other stuff so progress is out. dont wanna make holes in ma baby. im droping and trying to make my ride a little stiffer around turns so i feel safer taking them. my old cb was truckin and on 17s and when i took turns going like 55(highway) id have to slow down. i felt like the back was slighty drifting outwards. so i just want to beef up the ride i no most of that goes away with a drop.http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=138029 <-mrt

No, no, no. First of all, yes the spring and shock combo is your primary route of attack for increasing the handling, however that doesn't mean sway bars are insignificant. Even if the car isn't lowered, they can make quite a difference because sway bars affect the lateral load transfer of the vehicle. You want a large amount of lateral load transfer in the rear on a front wheel drive vehicle, because this will load up your inside front tire due to diagonal weight distribution. "If you don't have sway bars, you're doing it wrong".
Hondas tend to love alot of rear bar, so I would get the largest one you can...that's a Progress rear sway bar. I would leave the front stock for now.
In addition to your H&R springs and Koni shocks, you should replace all bushings with poly, or even better sphericals. Then, add a progress rear sway bar and then front and rear upper strut tower bars(good ones like Neuspeed or ESP). At that point, you really don't need to even worry about upgrading anymore suspension until you get the car rolling on a really sticky tire.
Also, there are small markings already on the crossmember for where to drill. Its easy. Its four small holes. If you aren't comfortable doing that, then you shouldn't even be installing your own springs or shocks. There are no black and white suspension answers!!!!!!!!!!!

The Progress rear sway was one of my first suspension upgrades and it made a HUGE difference even with stock springs/shocks. Installation is a breeze and I'm completely satisfied with its performance. Op: If you install a ST bar it will likely rub on any aftermarket exhaust you install in the future.
Energy Suspension makes a good poly kit for the front of the car )master bushing kit) and Prothane has a really good kit for the rear control arms (welding required). If you can't or don't want to weld you may look into the Megan rear tie bars. Energy Suspension sells tubs of liquid Urethane that you can use to fill the rear trailing arm bushing (60a is what you want).
Moog makes a rear lower shock mount bushings, get either that or oem.
Energysuspensionparts.com is your friend. They carry ES and Prothane bushings and the liquid pour stuff too.My Member's Ride Thread

They don't list them for the accord, but I believe they can get them for you.
Or, if you were even more hardcore, you could buy Aurora Sphericals. However, that would require sizing them properly, machining the control arms for an interference fit, and then making steel cones on a lathe to adapt the proper sized bolt. Lots of work, but this is what legit race cars do. The Hardrace sphericals are a much more practical, easy installation.

Yes balljoints and tie rods should most definitely be inspected and replaced accordingly.

okay so it looks like ill be the first to say this to you. the shock & spring package you re looking to get well not be good for each other. from what i know the h&r race springs are just like the neuspeed race and those well blow the str.t's way before they would normally go bad. i would wither get the h&r sports or get a better shock like the koni yellow. i only know this because i ordered my koni str.t's last week and they told be the race springs had the wrong spring rate for the shocks and they are too stiff for them.
