Coming up a corner... I slow down, gas, turn, lift off the gas and the rear just slides out... btw the road is dry..... going around 40-50 km/h turning left
haha.. well how much do you get on the gas after you slow down? When you slow down, weight goes to the front, accelerate, it goes to the rear, and if you are turning sharply, and you let all the way off the gas, it will quickly put the weight back on the front tires, leaving the rear to roam free.
Sounds fun.. but dangerous if you do it too fast. I got my car loose like that once during auto-x... was coming out of a long slalom, messed up the last cone, so i had to lift off the accelerator all the way while turning, and ended up having the rear walk out on me at 40-50 mph. I almost recovered in time to stay on course, but I got the cone with the front corner. Loosing control is fun though.. do it enough, and it'll make you a much safer driver if you ever have to do it on the road in an emergency situation.
BTW.. thats a nice picture in your sig.. and nice lookin car. Gotta see if you have a members ride yet.
my back end feels like it floating around when i take a corner fast, does that mean i need new shocks

I know why your car does that...I remember your car because of it. You have Sport springs in front and Race springs in the back, so the back springs are stiffer than the front. When a car's setup like that it tends to break free in the back first- which is why most spring kits for our car are front biased.
Our cars are really well sorted out...I've done accidental 4-wheel drifts, and every now and then I'll get into an offramp too fast...all I have to do is slow down and get off the brakes; the car rotates the tail a little bit and gets back in line. It builds confidence.

Happens to my car all the time. Either braking in a turn or going fast and lifting the throttle in a turn will make my rear end slide. Sometimes a lil dangerous in the rain or snow. Damn 560lb/in springs and Koni Yellows
