    Lowering springs questions...

Welp as many know my accord is slammed.I cant really dd it that way and im looking at getting some diffrent springs.ATM im running unknown cut springs im guessing ebay or somthing the coil pattern isnt stock and kyb gr2s in good condition.Rides ok but way to low.Ok now to what ive got to choose from.
D2- 2.5 drop up front 2.25 rear unknown spring rate at this time
Megan- 2 drop up front 1.75 rear spring rate 280f-250r
Ive read reviews on both and really havent found a bad thing about either.Ive been told D2 rides really good and have read megan does to.Im jw if anyone is running either set up.I can get megan for $135 shipped from TDC and D2 for around the same price from brms.Im leaning toward d2 but idk if the drop is to much so if you have a 2.5f 2.25r drop post pix and give opinion aswell if your running either setup.
    Thanks!

What are you looking for? Better handling, smooth ride, or just a higher ride height? I'm glad you're getting rid of cut springs, but those GR-2 shocks aren't too good at handling stiff springs. My relatively-soft Tein springs are starting to overwhelm my GR-2s, and it's only been about 10,000 miles.

Anyways, tell us what you're looking for and you'll get a plethora of responses. This link below should have more than enough information regarding ride height and spring stiffness.

Not looking for anything really, but better ride height and a smoother ride. These two are what ive picked out with in the $150 range not looking for a track wanna be.Ive heard the D2s are really good stiffer than stock but not bouncey at all.My shit suspension now even rides well, but to low and cut wore out aswell i can compress them by hand.So looking for a modest upgrade but nothing fancy.Shocks are good just need better springs.I had teins on my first accord back in 06 rode great but kicked the ass end out ride height was so so.Main concern i need to make it in and out of my driveway with out messing my cb up.D2 is lifetime warrenty im leaning toward them but idk if the drop is to much aka why i asked for pix of the same drop.

I suggest progress springs. The rates are balanced appropriately for the accord's weight distribution, and they're about a 2" drop. Also, springs alone don't dictate how the car rides. The shock plays a large role....actually more of a role, than the spring.

That is my car with Neuspeed race springs and Koni SP3's on the lowest perch.

The springs are an advertised 2.2F, 2.0R drop, while moving the koni perches is an extra 0.5". This is a drop, on paper, of 2.7F, 2.5R.

Sprint blue springs are another good spring. A friend has Sprint blues with KYB GR2's and the ride is pretty good. Handling is better, but its not very stiff either. Those springs are about a 2.25" drop front and rear, and are 15-20% stiffer than stock.

Check the Spring, shock, and coilover sticky if you haven't already for other options.

You always suggest skunk2's springs, yet we don't know the rates of them. I've never ridden on them, what would you estimate the rates to be?

I wouldn't say best quality. You've forgotten Koni and Bilstein.

I wanna say 350/250. Maybe even a little softer but not much. Definitely softer than Sportlines or Races, but pretty bouncy on stock shocks (car came with that setup). Like I mentioned, H23Accord had Skunk2s and Neuspeed Races on Koni SP3s and he preferred the Skunk2s by a landslide (he posted in depth reviews in the Susp forum)

And IME Illuminas are garbage. At least compared to Konis for the same price. Koni's adjustment system reliability alone is worth the extra $50 or w/e bucks.

Not looking for anything else, but opinions on what ive stated above all else is pointless unless it contains to my price range. If i had money for a $500-1200 set up id ask how and what to get.I am strictly just upgrading the springs sticking with the gr2s until they blow but i must upgrade the springs. Thanks for the info though i appropriate it.Price range is $150-200.Probably going with the D2s heard nothing but good from/about their products.

Those D2 springs are stiff and will prob blow ur shocks fast. Same w/the Megans (coulda swore they were 450/250 F/R).

Get something mild like Teins or something till u can afford something legit
