alright so basically i have been riding on dropzone springs for awhile which are a pretty crappy ride since my oem oil filled struts blew. Well for christmas my parents are hooking me up and fixing my strut problem for me. I am replacing the rear right now and the front later because the front are not blown yet. I have looked and talked to my local import performance shop and they said that the kyb agx and gr2's are basically the same besides the fact that the agx is adjustable. The koni str.t though seems like the best option from reviews because correct me if im wrong but the str.t handles a drop. I am dropped about 2 inches. I don't want to know what suspension setups are better then what i have named i just want to know the facts about what i listed. I know the springs suck but im looking to get some quality struts since im not paying for them. Koni yellows are out of the question.

I've got AGXs dropped on Ground Controls 2.5-3" and they've been fine for 5 yrs ~80k miles no leaks or anything. Only problem I had was one of the metal washers? came untacked from the shock body in the RR and was rattling so I just JB welded it back on and its been fine. All adjustability ranges work and there's a distinct difference between full soft and full stiff

Get the Koni Str.T shocks. They are the best for your money out of all three you listed. It sounds like your local shop at least knows what they're talking about. A shop around here told me Tokico was better than Koni once...I about vomited. There are no black and white suspension answers!!!!!!!!!!!

And plus for another 100 or so you can get dedicated Coilover setup, such as Ksports made for our CB chassis so who would even bother getting Konis? times are changing, you can get a lot more for your money now than in the past with all the advancements in susp. technology
Think about it, ONLY 100 dollars more and you get the springs, threaded bodies, and fancy top-hats. For only 100 dollars more. What does that say about the quality of the dampers? Quality is clearly sacrificed to keep costs down, because if it weren't Koni's and Bilstein's would be alot cheaper than they are.Last edited by mndude07; 12-07-2010, 04:40 AM.There are no black and white suspension answers!!!!!!!!!!!
