    Mild drop, camber question.

Before anyone says read, I have. I read the sticky on the suspension section. I'm doing a mild drop Tokico blues with Tein H springs. The springs are a 1.5 drop in the front, 1.1 in the rears. My question is this. I have read several threads where members state that with 1.5 drop, no camber adjustment is needed, yet the Honda camber kit guide in the sticky recommends Ingalls for adjustment. Between member experience and what the guide recommends, who's right?

I was told from a few friends that it not the camber that eats up the tire so you will need a camber kit

Not that I don't appreciate anyone replying to my thread, but "BUMP" for an answer that is understandable, and gives an actual explanation.

I have Eibach Pro-Kits with a 1.2" drop and SPC camber kits front and rear. If you want your alignment to be in spec, you WILL need a camber kit. There is no camber adjustment on our cars, so any height change will put camber out of spec.

Thanks for an understandable response. I know that our cars have no adjustable camber, but after reading several post that were contradictary to the sticky in the suspension section, I had to ask.

you wont need it, just be sure to get an alignment after the install and rotate tires.

You'll notice a little bit of uneven wear on the inside, but it wont be too serious.

You need camber alignment to do it right, period. There's no way to get it to match between sides otherwise. Not getting a camber kit would be the quick & dirty, ghetto, half-assed way to do it honestly.

Running no kit reduces your traction as well
                wat?

In a straight line, yes. For turning, you want some camber though...but again, if you can't adjust it properly, you're shooting in the dark.

Yeah, I know. Most peoples cars are DD's here so you'd be more interested in straight line traction.
