im gonna bump this thread rather than make a new one. Is there a way to tell if a ball joint needs to be replaced visually?

alot of times the seal might be deteriorated, and visually the grease may be leaking out, just touch it with your finger to make sure its sealed, also shake the wheel( car jacked up) vigorously to check for too much play...

And those SPC upper ball joints were purchased where?

I'd like to know if it just isn't easier, faster and cheaper to get new upper control arms, since you also get new bushings as well.

does anyone have experience with the adjustable ball joint hitting? if so what is your setup?

btw the adjustable ball joint seems like the best type of camber correction (other than the issue of hitting) because it puts the whole suspension back to a more oem like angle.

Thank god for this thread, those damn ball joints were a bitch for me... but just incase anyone else had as much trouble as i did hammering them out, try using a blow torch to heat it up. then hammer away... it worked for me.
