I bought upper control arms for my 91 civic off ebay, they were ok. Just remember that these parts are cheap cause they are made with inferior materials and although they are a decent quick fix, they probably won't last as long as OEM.

True, but anyone has any idea how much I will have to spend if I have to go OEM?

I wouldnt go with ebay suppension. Everyone on here will tell you there is to much riding on that ebay balljoint. Its over a 100 bucks to? If you want to help yourself out, then try getting the energy suppension frontend master kit you can get that off ebay. I love my energy suppension masterkit, only downfall is you have to press the oem lower control bushings out to install the new ones.
If you do this kit. go ahead and get you some spc upper balljoint caberkit in the front and some esp mounts to complete the front end
Now is there another reason you want this kit? Do you have bent arms or bad tierods?

if you get all that then your going to want to spend some cash on some nice "true" coil overs give your self that nice stance you have always wanted :P i got some cheap ones but i am very satisfied with them. very nice ride to how low the car is.

now you may have some bad tierods you need to replace. or lower balljoints. sometimes you just really need to buy OEM parts
        balljoints
        tierods
        throwout bearings
all front motor seals "cam seals, crank seal, balanceshaft seals(dont forget your retainer, this dosent have to be oem) crank seal, rear main seal,
        timing belt

to me... all of these are oem parts

the only reason why I am thinking about replacing it is because all the boots are torn! I figured I might as well replace the entire suspension instead of just replacing the bushings!

I for one have bought parts from world suspension on more than one occassion and have never had any problems with them, i know a few local members that have bought from the same seller and neither have had any problems with their OE Brand products.

However when i 1st replaced my suspension components i went with a canadian company this was about 5 yrs ago "arm-can" or atleast that was the brand of the suspension manufacturer don't remember, but those were complete crap

When I did my suspension, I used the energy suspension master kit, replaced the Inner and outer tie rods, Upper ball joints, lower ball joints and two camber kits. Not including the Koni Yellows and Neuspeed race springs, I spent 750 on that stuff. Ebay may be cheaper, but if it's cheaper there probably is a reason for it. Burn out the rubber pieces on the lower control arm for the energy suspension master kit then use an air chisel to get the metal out. It's not cheap but well worth it. I can personally vouch for energy suspension and new quality suspension parts.
