in all honesty, i'm really not sure. i mean, they should fit just fine... but i'm not sure of the weight differences and handling characteristics of the cd5/cd7 (5th gen accord) compared to the cb7. the springs and shocks (non-coilovers) for both generation accords tend to have the same part numbers from most manufacturers. this makes me think that the weight differences and handling characteristics are similar enough. are they similar enough for coilovers to also be the same... i would assume so.
but again, you noted that the description was specifically for the 5th generation accord.
to answer the question directly, you can (the word can connoting the ableness) use the springs designed for 94-97, but you shouldn't necessarily use them. if it were me, i'd use one's specifically with a 90-93/90-97 designation.
absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.

yea i was kinda hoping other ppl would say something about this too, cuz seriously, the 5th gen accords have all the good coilover brands and more options like HKS, Tanabe, JIC, and i think, but not too sure, Cusco. anyways, all i need is one guy to say "I got coilovers that were meant for the 5th gen, but it fits perfectly on my cb7!"

think of it this way
kyb agx shocks fit both applications..so no way any other shock designed would fit only one application..so fitment isn't an issue
uncle_el does bring up a good point about differences in weight..of course depending on the model these differences can be +-200 lbs..i know that cl owners (cars based on the 5th gen accord but are slightly heavier) have issues with the aftermarket shocks designed for 5th gen accords bottoming out on their cars..but 4th gen accords are lighter than 5th gen sorta so i doubt you'll have a problem with that
easiest way to find out is ask the company and ask them what they do differently (if anything at all) for the different generations =)For Sale:
itr mid pipe = $80 + shiping
tr injen sri $80 + shipping
(2) Eibach ERS 600x2.5x600 = $80shipped in US

All springs/shocks/coilovers fit 90-97 accords. Now the v6 accord is going be different due to the extra weight. I think the v6 came out in 96-97 area. If it says specifically 96-97, they may be talking about the v6. All the 4cyl. from 90-97 will work though. On the same note though, the suspension setup that you may be looking at may have in fact designed the coilovers for each invididual application which if that is the case, than I would go with the one that includes my year. In your case though, it seems you are asking can the 5th gen accord suspension setups fit the 4th gens...answer is yes. I have had 5th gen springs and at some point I am sure I have had 5th gen coilovers on my car although they were the sleeves and not tru coilovers. So here ya go:
"I got coilovers that were meant for the 5th gen, but it fits perfectly on my cb7!" although I recommend if it breaks up the generations, get the one for yours.
FYI BONUS info: All that stuff fits both generations, but the strut bars do not. Mounting points don't match up."This is a jaded bunch. To gain notice, you have to challenge conventional wisdom, test assumptions, and ignore the naysayers."
