I don't see why they would chip. I've had two other sets sprayed black and they never chipped... And I never primered those. These I actually took my time with. I'm going to get another can of blue to make it a little deeper, and I've got the clear already.

I'll post some day pics in a few hours when I get off work. I can't wait to see them myself. It was dark when I finishd, so I have no idea what they really look like.
