the difference is because im low offset.... if you i use the oem uca's (my) wheels wont clear.. they stick out about an inch bc the stock camber from the initial drop wont assist enough natural camber. with the ef uca's you will have more camber to tuck the wheel not having to worry about fender hitting the tires.. unless of course you turn and hit a dip and have really soft suspension it wouldnt matter... your fender WILL get hit. in conclusion, if you have hella low offset wheels ef uca's are your best bet to get a better clearance, high offset wheels DO NOT need these ef uca's. Stiffer suspension allows a lil more forgiveness on turns with lil dips, but in my case i just angle everywhere bc its just me.

depends... are you low offset?? if so, its a must unless you have custom fabricator. if i was high offset still i wouldnt ever think about ef upper controls,
what do you mean i dont care about camber? i havent seen anyone fit 16x8 plus 13's with 15mm spacers on with out a camber kit or custom arms.. have you?, let alone on a CB

How much shorter in inches would u say the EF UCAs are compared to the CB ones? And obviously ur car is slammed so axle life could be shortened by anything, but do you remember if your axles were compressed at all with the EF UCAs?

That's fucking smart as shit... though we would need a different design to accomodate for our shock being between the UCA mounts. I think a simpler, more rigid design with less adjustability would be better.

I am going to check out EF UCAs this weekend. I will do my damned best to get pics lol

Any more info on this? I've just lowered the car down a bit more at the front and I'm hitting the ball joint style camber kit again.

Has anyone checked how much negative camber the DA UCA's give you? So that if you then bought the Skunk2 UCA's which have 3 deg positive adjustment would this give you roughly the same sort of range as the stock UCA's? Main reason I want adjustability is because I have some variation from side to side in my alignment values.

I'm wondering the same thing. The skunk2 EF arms create more negative camber than the stock arms...I understand that. However, the skunk2 EF arms are +/- 3 degrees adjustment, correct? If so, then you could slide the balljoint toward the outside (more positive) to wind up with nearly zero camber but still have the added fender clearance the EF arms provide.

So to the guy with these Skunk2 arms: What happens if you were to move the balljoint to the outside all the way on your current setup? Would it nearly zero your camber or is it still quite negative?
There are no black and white suspension answers!!!!!!!!!!!

Hate to bring this thread up from the dead but this last post is EXACTLY what I came looking for and it of course is left hanging!! lol I too am considering EF adjustable arms to correct camber as its easier then other options either way.
