Does anyone have up-close pictures of top-hat installation?

I am trying to help Mndude07 and ryaniskingofyou lower ryans car with some used coilovers, but we cant figure out the correct order for the top-hat installation. i think one or two of the pieces may have been damaged previously because whenever we think we have it installed correctly, the shock just shoots through the top mount.

am i correct in assuming the bump-stop plate (big washer under the top-hat and above bumpstop) is supposed to catch on a ridge on the shock? because the plate that is on here appears (to me at least) to have a little bit of damage and not catch the ridge at all.

please help, we are trying to get this done before the drive to the midwest meet in chicago tomorrow morning!

that is supposed to catch the strut rod with a smaller inner diameter. does it just fall over the bump stop?
