To lower or not to lower?

Hey I am thinking about lowering my car.... I was wondering if it would be ok considering where I live. I'm from SW Virginia and there is a lot of hills here!

The following pictures are of my car at the bottom of my driveway. Notice that the front bumper is almost dragging with the stock suspension.

    So should I?

Yes, just don't park in your driveway.

You can't go at it straight like that you gotta go at a angle

The slope is slightly less if I take the curve wide. I was just worried that one day I might hit some ice or cut it too sharp and rip off the front bumper! or get stuck! also there is some places around where I live that I have drug with my stock suspension.

Keep your stock springs for winter time

To lower is not a question with our cars....There is way too much wheel gap with our cars....the question should be how low to go

But trust me you will learn how to drive a lowered car so that you dont fuck shit up.

Definitely lower . You just need to angle your approach in a spot like this. I wouldn't worry too much about tearing off the bumper, it seems the tow hooks and cross member seem to take the beating if they're ever hit. --- I've done a few ouches esp on parking curbs....and they have those everywhere

Cool. That's another question... How low should I go then. because I don't want to put a lot of money into it and not be able to notice that I did anything.. but at the same time I don't want it so low that I get stuck on a speed bump....

2" would be good. It'll look significantly lower than stock, but not insanely low.

Air ride would solve your problem. Go down the driveway at stock height, then flip a switch and be slammed.
There are no black and white suspension answers!!!!!!!!!!!

too expensive/ to illegal. Va doesn't allow one to modify their suspension from stock. while having it lowered is illegal as well it isn't as noticeable. Yea VA sucks!

I am definitely going to lower it now! Thanks! I was thinking about getting some Megan racing springs with the 2" drop.

Is there a kit that is that cheap that will kinda level out the car? Because the only Megan springs I could find had a 2" in the front and a 1.75" in the rear? I was kinda hoping I could find a 2" drop in front and rear?

Try sprint blues, they are 2.50 in the front and back i believe.
