    steering wheel turn help help

    some guy i know is trying to sell me his cb7 he changed the bars that steer the tires i think the tie end rods or some crap like that and know the steering wheel has to be like half turned for the tires to go straight
    what do i have to do to to make the sterring wheel go striaght?

    get an alignment.

    those are your tire rods, they can adjust ur toe.

    he probably thought he got it on there center, but didnt notice your steering wheel was off. basically the way that the tech would do it before he changed the tie rods, is center the steering wheel, count the number of turns to take off one rod, put the new one on the same amount of turns.

    in theroy you should be really close to factory spec....but still get an alignment. he probably didnt see that the steering wheel wasnt straight .
    What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

    You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

      Here's a DIY front toe alignment fora mercedes. But in reality adjusting the toe is pretty much the same for all cars.
