shock poking up too far??

Hey, just noticed that my stupid shock in the rear of my car is like rising up and hitting that support in the back.. I thought i was too low, and planned to raise it up, but went back there, and saw that the top of the shock assy was up off that black cone thing about 1 inch. Im guessing I left out a freakin washer somewhere. Guess no homework will get done tonight

Yeah I really hate anything that has to do with suspension. It pisses me off.

Yeah you probably forgot to put something back. I know i did. I forgot to but the washer back on and the whole strut peice flew up and bashed into where my rear speakers sit. I was pissed lol

Did you put the nut back on top of the strut? I'm talking about the threaded part on the strut that's just above the top bushig. And make sure you have the retainer washer below the nut.

well, im not sure what i was thinking... on both of the rear ones, i put the 2 washers on top of everything. I went back, and put the one under and one on top.. now shes all good. Time for a test drive. Thankfully it only took me a little over an hour to switch both sides.
