    Koni Yellow perches

So i installed my koni yellows and neuspeed springs about 4 weeks or so. But i know my koni yellows have 5 adjustable perches. I beleive i can get another inch or so if i set it to the lowest setting correct? But how do i do this? Do i have to take off the suspension all over again. or can i jack up the car and adjust them? thanks guys

Your going to have to take them off to adjust the clip.

You can adjust them on the car but its alot easier off the car.

You will have to get an external snap ring plire. Or use two flat screwdrivers and pop the ring off, Then move it down to whichever perch you want.

x2, its a pain in the ass but if you want the extra lowering its obviously worth it. i miss my koni's, if i end up keeping my accord for the long run then i will prolly buy the same setup your currently running.

I was wondering the same as I also have the super cup kit. I'll be lowering the front end more in the next couple of weeks. Maybe I'll write something up on it, unless the OP beats me to it.
There are no black and white suspension answers!!!!!!!!!!!

The only reason i got to throw my suspension on was because of my dad being gone for a week. So i got all the work i wanted done while he was gone. He kinda kicked me out of the garage not letting me work on the cb7 since his car that i took out accidently got a good 3 ft scratch on it. (which i took care of) But i have a manual spring compressor. Im thinking maybe if i can jack the car up at a friends house and get half the spring compressor on it will hold the spring so that i can move the perches. but i dont wanna mess up my springs by doing that. I had a horrible time doing the suspension swap though. lol i dont ever wanna pull it back out.

the first time changing out the suspension is always a PITA. ive done it probably a good 5 times on my car or my brothers car. hell i can do my entire suspension swap in about 2 hours now...lol

lol. yea i wont mention how long it took me lol. ive pulled suspension before but never had to put it back on since the car was totaled that i pulled it off. I got lucky with my konis. they already had the tophats and i didnt have to do any drilling.

Don't take your suspension off to adjust the perches. That IS a waste of time. I adjusted mine because I didn't like how the front and back were leve. I adjusted the back ones only but all you need to do is:
                      1)Jack up the car.
                      2)Remove the wheels.
3)install your macpherson strut spring compressor on one side of the car.
4)compress your spring JUST enough to get the perch undone with a knife and a screwdriver.
5)If your going UP you have to compress the spring past the point of the new perch setting.
6)If your going down, move the perch to where you want it and start undoing your compressors.
7)Bolt the wheel back on and start on the other side.

In whole it took me 30 min to do. Not that bad. I just thought I'd share my experience with adjusting KONI Yellows on the car.
Been a long time. Still alive...

theres two pieces for the manual spring sompressor. would i be fine to only use one of them to hol the spring enough to adjust the perch? i know the front i most likely wont be able to get both sides of the spring to compress.

dude just take off the whole suspensiion off the car. its easy to have someone to help you for the front ones. you don't have to take it apart, just take it off the car... won't take you more than 1 hour.
