    CD5 rear brake system

would the rear brakes(all the components like the trailing arm and all) off of a '94-96 accord bolt up to our cb7 chassis? i seem to be able to find more CD5 accords in jy or being parted out than the CB7 EX or SE accords. i wanted to do a rear disc brake swap but i need to know before i go get the parts.

You can get everything. Rear subframe, trailing arms, LCA's.
The one thing is that you're going to have more negative camber in the rear.
Ask icedplaya, we are still trying to find out how to get rid of that.
Maybe using the CB stock LCA?

the main this i want is just the rear disc brakes. ill probably just use those instead of the entire suspension if its gonna be a problem of camber.

thats funny cuz we barely have any cd's in my area. but buttloads of cb's at the yards. I was comparing rear suspension and brakes with a 1st gen legend, and they look real similar, has anyone tried using those?

so if camber is the problem, get a camber kit they are kind of cheap for the rear. You can always use washers also

Dont know if the camber kit can adjust your rear camber that much.

Icedplaya is already running the washers in the rear. Still has alot of negative camber.

Maybe the CB LCA is the answer, who knows, we'll find out soon enough.

How much negative camber are you talking about?

you think an aftermarket camber kit would help instead of using thousands of washer? lol

I never got a chance to put his car on the alignment rack to see what the numbers were.
But i wouldnt do the thousand washer trick lol.

What are the adjustments on the aftermarket rear camber kit?

Would it not have all that extra camber if you just used the knuckles from the CD5?

Knuckle, upper arm, and trailing arm are the same as the CB's.
The only thing different are both lower control arms and subframe.

So in theory, maybe using both CB lower control arm and subframe.

Thats what we're going to do with Icedplaya's set up to see if the camber changes.
