    HELP!! strut bar problem

So i bought a neuspeed strut bar from losiracer since it wouldnt fit over his h22. i figured out where everything is suposed to line up but its such a tight bar im guessing i cant pull it far enough over to get the driver side on. whats the trick? should i jack the car up? would that help at all?

Yeah, def. jack the car up, that should do the trick. I can almost do mine w/ the front on the ground but I didn't want to screw up the threads from forcing it on.

Thanks man. Thats what i was thinking. And i also didnt wanna mess up the threads. But i already had everything apart and started raining on me. So i had a friend over. We threw the ones the are up closer towards the front and somehow they lined up perfect and the rear came down and ligned up. Have no idea why it didnt work the first time. Hardest part was trying to keep the upper control arm threads up. They kept getting hit and sliding down.

When your putting on strut bars your actually supposed to put the car on jack stands at all four corners.

why would it matter if the cars jacked up or not? i got it on already without jacking it up. should i take it off and jack the car up and put it back on? or is there no point in it now? why all four corners if im justdoing the fronts?

By jacking the car up, you are unloading the suspension. While jacked up, the strut towers will be closer together. Because of this, when you tighten down the strut bar and drop the car back on the ground, it will be much tighter than if you have simply bolted it on while the car was on the ground.
