    Rear lowet tie bar install?

I just order a complete set of Megan strut bars, im just wondering where does the lower tie bar go? are there predrilled holes for it? And also, will the front strut bar fit over my f20a swap?

Yes there is a place under the car where it goes. Actually, if you look at some of the member's ride pages, you will see some good pics of those that have it and that will assist you as to where to bar goes. As far as if it fits over your f20 swap, I don't see why not.

search a bit in here cuase i have a post on it..and a picture.

basically just put up the car so that the rear wheels are elevated.

then there are these 2 bolts that hold it, there is no mistakening the bolts, its right there.

pop one out at a time, place one of the brackets in and put the bolt back in.

you may need some wd40 for the bolts, they are pretty tight.

then do the other side and then tighten the bar.

if u can get the big bolt back in then u going to have to get a rubber hammer and start knocking it so that the whole is aligned again, dont worry its not the end of the world. i did this already. just somtimes it takes banging or it takes pushing the bottom of the tire out a bit so it can go back into place.

make sure u can loosen both bolts first before taking it off...this is so that if u fuk up, u can still ride to a shop.
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

I have the full set too. Good luck with getting the rear strut bar to fit because it won't. I'm not the only one who has had that trouble. So if by some miracle your rear strut bar fits reply back and let me know.

usually where the external pole meets the main body of the bar, u can adjust it..it may not look like it but you can.

Even after adjusting it, it was about an inch or two too short. It was nowhere near fitting. I even tried switching around the front and rear bars, but it didn't help enough.

they probably sent you the wrong bars, how far can you extend it...go the max amount and put it in...if u still cant then thats the wrong one.

Yeah, see that's what I thought at first. I found out though that I'm not the only person who has had this problem. I've talked with a couple other people on here that have had the other bars fit fine then not be able to get the rear bar to fit at all.

how much of a difference do the rear lower bars make on a stock suspension. is it worth buying one?
