remember...the suspension on your car is very important and not doing it safely will cause problems even an accident, i've seen cars dropped on stock struts/shocks that have cause massive problems, i saw a car flip going around a corner because he didn't so it smart. don't cheap out on your suspension!!!

save the extra buck and buy the full coil over set up or sleeves with shocks.

doing it right the first time will acctually save you money in the long run, plus its just smart and wise!!! living up to your 4x4 status for an extra month or two is totally worth it!

I highly suggest that you don't buy a sleeve coilover and put them on stock struts. Especially if your going to lower your car 2.5-3" they'll probably blow out in a month or two. I had a Civic dropped about 3" and I put brand new stock replacements and they started going in two months.

Trust me later down the road your gonna look back and say to yourself "I should've waited or spent the extra cash" Cause in the future your gonna want good suspension and end up having to spend more cash and do more work.

If your really set on getting sleeve type coilovers and don't wanna buy ground controls or Skunk2's at least get Megan racing instead of Drop Zone.

So i found a good deal that i cant pass up on the classifieds. Neuspeed sport shocks 2in drop front and rear and then Tokico Illumina shocks/struts. So as long as he can hold them till i get my tax return then thats what ille be getting lowered on. Later on down i might get lower but a 2in drop is much better then what the cb7s sittin at right now. Thanks guys for the help. So 2in drop. camber kit or not? I know anything after 2in usually needs camber kit but what about at 2in only? Thanks guys.

I would say just spend the extra cash for what you want now man. Cause your just wasting your time and money buying those and putting them in. Then having to buy what you want and having to put those in. How much you getting for your tax return? I'd assume well enough to get at least some full coilovers or some GC/Koni setup.

It's not really the camber that messes up tires but the toe. Just get alignment after you drop it and you should be fine.

              OMG FINALLY!!!!!!!!!

holy shit i have been waiting for someone to say this...people think camber eats tires and its nonsense.

although if you want even wear...you have to flip the tires regularly.

Haha yeah I've been telling people that for the longest time.

"ah man my camber is just eating my tires up"
                "did you get alignment?" me
"nah I just tried to align it myself"
                "............" me

haha I think most people think Camber kits prevent tire wear because they usually get alignment with the camber kit. So they think that it was the camber kit that did the job.

Camber tow and caster all destroy tires....so sayin it doesn't is nonsense just depends on how much neg. or positive camber someone has = how fast the tire goes
Having a small cam is like having a small dick every time you go to use it you wish it was bigger.

Very true they all damage the tires but so does everyday driving. Mostly what I meant by my post is that camber is should be the least of anyones worries. I've known many people pushing rediculous negative camber. By that I mean it almost looks like they're riding on the rim. They're tires lasted very long because as soon as they dropped it they got alignment. Does negative camber wear tires faster? yes. Is it very significant damage? no
