Any one know if the CD suspension parts fit the CB7s? Especially when it comes to strut tower bars or lower suspension bars. Things that are almost impossible to find for our cb7s?

i know for a fact that the front and rear crossmembers are different on the cd5 vs cb7. Also the axles are longer to compensate the wider frame. Im not sure if the strut towers are the same. Your better off just going to a junk yard with a tape measure and seek the proper length. how ever the struts and springs are the same for the cd5.

Strut braces only work if they are very rigid, and that includes the brackets that attach to the tower tops (no thin metal, especially at the tower brackets). No tower braces provide any significant vertical stiffening, it's all lateral stiffening between the towers, so all that matters is rigidity in compression and tension between one tower and the other (any bends in the bar seriously detract from rigidity).
It also makes no difference to rigidity in compression / tension whether the strut brace is welded up as a single piece unit, or is a three piece bolt together style brace, or if a bolted together style whether there are two or more bolts holding the brace together.
If you have a choice between a rigid but expensive and ugly brace, and a not so rigid but cheap and pretty brace, always get the former, and never get the latter...Regards from Oz,
John.

^^^exactly if i'm gonna spend the money on one I want it to actually be beneficial. I've been looking at the cusco strut tower bars but I've only seen them listed for the CD accord CD5s and CD6. i would think it would be pretty much the same length between our cars and theres since our motors are pretty much interchangeable between those cars. I didn't even have a fitment issue using the f23 motor in a 90 accordPrevious cb7members ride thread
