    dumb question

I feel like an idiot for asking, but i just finished trying to install my rear brace. Its a generic threaded one, and i need some help. The bar seems to be too short. I thread the bolts all the way out and its still not long enough. I was thinkin maybe i mounted it wrong? How are the bases suppose to be mounted, cus i have mine curling around the strut towers towards the seat. Are the bases supposed to curl around on the side thats closer to the trunk????? Help guys, please!

I believe mine curled around back. There should only be 2 holes back there so there is only 2 ways to wrap the bases around the rear shocks...the front or the back. Try it both ways and if that doesn't work, make sure you got a bar for the 90-93 year accords because if I remember correctly, the other year accord braces don't fit.
