    urgent! , berring question

if you are doing the "quick / dirty" slide hammer method, and can't get the 4 back bolts off, and you pull the berring apart.... how hard will it be to get the second part of the berring off the car.... (not the piece that will stick to the rotor, but the other part).... cuz i am going to be replacing the berrings... i just dont want to pull it apart and find i can't get the piece out.... and will need it "pressed out " or something.

anyone who has experience with it lemme know.

ps : the reason this is urgent is cuz i'm literally sitting in my garage right now on my lap top taking my breaks apart .. thanks in advance.

If you are replacing your bearings you just wasted your time pulling the hubs off. To get the bearings out you need to take out the 4 12Point 10MM's

they aren't serviceable bearings. you either reuse the old ones, or get new ones. if you are already taking them out, i would replace them anyways, to save the trouble

so essentially.... if you use the "quick/dirty method b" and half to replace yer berring cuz it seperated.... you basically didn't save any time. cuz now u gotta get at the four bolts etc. etc. rock on.

you don't HAVE to replace them, I didn't since mine were okay...I just repacked them w/ grease and repressed them in and everything was fine after that. But I used a press to reassemble them so, if you're just bashing them back together, I wouldn't suggest reusing them.
