you just mentioned you didnt want springs. for about 50 bucks more you can get a set of ground controls anyways. like i said, a lot of people rave about the koni yellow and ground control coilover setup.

if i had the money to throw down for a new set of koni yellows since they are around 400-500 bucks id jump for it.
    I <3 G60.

0.5mm Oversized Stainless valves and bronze guides available. Pm me please.

Sorry.. I meant height adjustable springs (coilovers) and was wondering is Koni Yellows as you call them and some good coilover springs would beat just as good or even better than a full set of Teins.

No, the tein's are a good setup (ss) I just thought they were going to be a little bit better for the g a paid for them. You won't be dissapointed but there are other options out there.

Well if you think they're over-price then already it's not good. We're not talking about a few dollars here. I want to invest in something that's worth it. Already as it is I've got no money. I have to save up for every single thing I want to buy so I wouldn't want something for 1300$ and then realize I shouldn't of got them but something else instead that's better. Basically I'm just trying to gain some knowledges on the possibilities. That's why reviews and recommendations are appreciated. So far 2 of you have said something negative about Tein. It is in fact retarded if the back can be lowered more than the front considering that the front fender is bigger for more wheel room and can be lowered more than the back with no rubbing. Tein specs also say that the front can be lowered 3.3 inches while the back 2.7 I think so how come it seems to be the opposite?

Good question. I do not know. Personally for the money you pay the Tein SS deserves to be how much the Basics are if not hundred more. The SS IMO is not worth 1000 bucks. The flex is worth there amount. But they are a bit light on the spring side but they are stiffer and a lot more adjustable. Dont get me wrong it is a good system I just dont like how it rides. It rides too soft. Yes it is slightly stiffer than stock BUT its too soft if you like to hit some corners. IF you are looking for a good daily suspension with a slightly more aggressive spring rate go for it. But if you like to go tracking and need a stiffer rate I would not recommend this setup.

They don't seem to be making Flex for our Accords. It will pretty much be a daily driver except in winter :P. It's my summer car. I won't let it rust. I still want to know what's wrong with the adjustment... How is that the back can be lowered more than the front while the specifications say -3.3 front and -2.7 back?

I dunno if you look at my MR I have pics on the basics. The front is bottomed out. Ill get pics tomorrow with the factory lip to show how low it is. I think I got my tape measure. Personally it doesnt feel that low. And I will see if I feel like jack my rear up and see how much more spring I got left.

That would be helpful thanks but if they just say it goes that low and doesn't, it's a complete rip off and lie. Why would such a reputable brand do this? Your the second person who said the rear goes lower than the back so it must be true.

No, no, he has a little bit different setup than I. The ride is, well I wouldn't say a whole lot but is alot, stiffer that stock. I have my dampening like on 12 in front and 10 on back and rides good. About the back and front height thing. Mine are about bottomed out in back maybe like 1 or 2 threads left and sits good, but the front are about 2/3 the way down and I just need to lower it a bit more. How bout this, if your looking for a cruising setup this is the one IMO that's why I picked it. It's great for my needs in a suspension setup. In no way do I regret it at all. Just a teeny overpriced. But you experement yourself and set YOUR opinions of things. Luckily i've had a few CB's to do this with. All in all its the tein's are good. Hope that helps

So basically you we're just saying that you could lower the front more but didn't? I mean definitely like them over some coilovers and shocks combo because that way I don't have to disassemble anything from the stock suspensions like I would have to with the Koni Sports and GC Coilovers to use the stock upper mounts and as much as the color doesn't change anything I like green better :P. Anyway I'll still see what people say. I have started another thread with a poll to help me figure out the best option. I've also discovered different sets like NEX, D2 Racing, Tokico and K-SPORTS and Megan and really there's just too many to pick from.

Megan's are nice. They resemble the Apexi coil over. Ksports are pretty good too from what I have seen. Some people are running NEX here. Some people are also running d2. The only thing I havent seen people put on their cars yet are the MEgan full system and the Ksports.
