    Raising a stock 92 accord

Now I dont need anyone saying "dont do it" or "thats dumb" or any other stupid pee brain shit. Thank you!

I was wondering if station wagon struts are longer then the 4 door cars

    I have a 92 accord EXR 5sp 4dr with prelude rims,I am not lowered.

In the front I have stock struts/springs. In the rear I have bilsteins struts and (moog) cargo coils.

If anyone has any ideas they would be appreciated.

I tow a jet ski, trailer with 2 dirt bikes. I load the car on long weekends.

    thanx

    Coupes were lower.

You don't need a lift kit, you need stronger springs for towing. Keep in mind both will probably fuck your handling up alot.
    wat?

I also go on ruff roads at the cottage. My subframe is smashed from hitting rocks and the down pipe is flat from rocks.

I am not worried about handling too much, I dont speed like I used to. Aswell if you are caught doing 50kms over the limit you lose your car and license for 7 days and 2gs worth of impound fees to get the car back.

I don't think hondas were meant to pull stuff, there's alot of stuff you'd have to change for this..

You'd be better off with a truck.
Meh, not feeling the honda game anymore.

Hey turd how old are you anyways?

            Let me explain...
I own 3 cars 81 monte lowered (summer only toy) 92 accord, 93 sunbird.
I dont need a truck 99% of the time nor do i need another vehicle in the way.

Show me a $200 pick up thats not ready for the wreckers and that will pass e-test. I dont drive unfit vehicles.
I would rather spend money on the monte then buy another truck.

I used to drive a 92 susburban 2500 4x4 with 1ton suspension with cranked torsion bars and leveled off in the back with an extra leaf and rearched.
4km per liter! I loved it and after 3 trannys and 2 motors I was done with it.
if ur pulling a trailer and off roading with ur accord, kinda sounds like a truck is the answer. but on the plus side, the accord will out last any suburban...

Upgrade your brake pads too since more weight more time needed to brake.

I raised the rear of my CB7 using the highest setting on the Koni yellows, and the lowest on front (gives a pretty level looking stance). The reason was because of the rear bottoming out on uneven roads with passenegers and / or a lot of weight in the boot (trunk). Also, especially on dirt roads with a high degree of road camber the car would sometimes scrape the road surface even if it didn't actually bottom out.

This hasn't made the handling worse, if fact it seems to have slightly improved rear weight transfer and thus slightly reduced understeer. I also tow a trailer with the Accord on occasion, and she doesn't mind, though I wouldn't want to be hauling a caravan on a round Australia journey...
                Regards from Oz,
                John.

                  "dont do it" "that's dumb"

Honestly, though. It's up to you to determine, but you might be better off with a truck. Among multiple reasons, the biggest for me is the fact that most passenger cars (though they can) aren't made for towing. It murders transmissions. I do hope you a). change your fluid regularly and b). have a large transmission cooler

The accord is a 5sp. It gets the fluid changed every year.

All of the vehicles I have that are auto's have large aftermarket trans coolers.
My monte has a huge one due to the fact its got a stall converter and I only drive it to beat the piss out of it.

Raise your car up on a jack and put spring locks on, it will keep the springs from compressing making your car ride higher (thats how all the impala's, crown vic's and grand marquis with 22's and 24's do it)

Might ride like ass but you asked how to raise it lol

hahaha agreed, just thought I'd throw out a solution, they are easy to take off when your not towing too
