Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    Could it work?

Hey I got a free intake with the Si that I just bought. It is a 3in SRI for a Civic. My question is would I be able to hook it up to my 1993 Accord with or without some modification?

should just that the TB is 2.5 so your going to have to get a 3"to 2.5" coupler or just crank that bitch tight

Will this require any modification to fit?

Probably. You're trying to get a civic intake to fit an accord. If the 2 chassis were even slightly related, then you'd probably be able to drop it in, but they are completely different cars. You're gonna have to do something.

yeah best bet would be to get a 3-2.5 inch coupler, that way, if you want to upgrade to the H23 TB/Plenum swap, its 62mm inner diameter and about 2.5 inches outer dia. so that would be perfect. but for now the accord TB is 57mm on the inside and about I'd say 2.25 inches O.D. But yeah I'm rockin' a 92-96 prelude 3" cold air intake on my EX w/ ABS and a strut bar and it amazingly cleared all that stuff.

                re

That awesome to hear. Then I may wait to install the intake. I have a H23 TB and Intake manifold also waiting to be installed as well. I prolly just do it all at once then

it takes 7 minutes to take the intake in and out, why wait?

                  life is short.

                    re

Yeah I know. Just depends on how much modification it requires. Also becasue as soon as it gets a little warmer, I plan on putting the manifold on. Too cold to do it right now
