Please DO NOT Post In The General Section
From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.
The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.
For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.
Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.
Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

been looking out for some k20a2 pistons again. I had pretty much decided to go with forged pistons and rods, but then decided against it. Budget N/A will be slower buy probably more satisfying?H.S.A.E.
90 CRX Si - gutted, caged, Bisi F2d kit, close ratio LSD trans, F22A6 - under construction
99 civic LX - y8 head and trans, lowered, blowing cold AC, and getting 35mpg.

there's a guy on k20a.org selling k20a2 pistons and rods also. $75 shipped, his SN is cstyleaccord, e-mail/paypal is cham@sapcoonline.net. I would have bought them, but the guy with the k20z1 pistons replied to me first.Last edited by hatchninja; 10-06-2007, 05:26 PM.H.S.A.E.

Looks like the top of the pistons might hit the head tho.

Looks like the f22 rod is thicker than the f23 rod. Weird.Gary A.K.A. Carter

It's interesting you noted the difference in the f22 rod to the others. It's significantly beefier, has much wider bearings, uses a bigger BE bore, and has rod studs, not bolts. It's too bad honda decided to use smaller rods for the f23 and mainstreem K-series (the RSX-s, 06+Si, and maybe the TSX use beefier rods, closer to the f/h rod design). Whatever, lighter recripricating mass . That means quicker revs, higher revs, and more HP. Downside is less power can be handled.
