Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

          I will be using the same Vance and Hines head that I used on the last engine, but the cams will be Skunk Pro 2s intstead of the Pro 1s I ran previously.

            Don't think some more aggressive cams would benefit the setup? Whats the static compression going to be?

              man thats tight. Get too agressive of a cam and you might endup with clearance issues it looks like. Thats gonna be a beast.

                This is still my streetcar so I don't feel that I will benifit having an even bigger cam in the set-up. Static compression is going to be 12.5/1.

                I made a 272whp with the pro 1s and I feel that the Pro 2s may even be too big, but testing will soon tell...

                          For some reason, I thought you were going to run higher compression.

                          Gona fab up a new header with that too? Or is most of the work gona be done to the downpipe/collector?
