Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    i can't remember

    this is going to sound stupid i know.
    i am at work and for the life of me cannot remember whitch way does what.
    if i turn my distributer clock wise what does it do.
    and if i turn it counterclock wise. this is looking at it straight on going into the motor, thanks.

      my high compression 11:5:1 what would perfore better, or would it just change the power range?

        Take it to a dyno and tune it. Dont guess. Especially with that high of compression an error can cost you quite a bit.

              yea, have it dyno tuned...the "how to build honda horespower" book said they dyno'd 2 degrees advance on each cam netted about 4 more hp without touching the distributor.

                i know i actually have that book. but in another area it actually hurt it and they retarded it 2 degrees to get the same results.. so yeah
