From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

yes exzactly,,, when the light is on it surges a lil when you go down near idle in drive or if you put it in park but only if you have the cel light on.. the o2 sensor is new i took the egr valev off and it works just fine.. i am absolutely sick of this cel light staying on because of this.. it has to have a way to fix it and no i'm not taking out the bulb,, it's their for a reason.

How did you test to see if its working? It could be moving but not enough for the sensor to notice. There is also a solenoid that activates it toward the fusebox.

i took it off cleaned it it held suction like it's suppose to and when it warms up on the car it doesn't suck air.. i have a sensor on the middle of the firewall that it blugs into.. not into the manifold is this correct?

notice where i pointed the egr valve is connected.. is this correct and the wires are temp like they are because i was making sure they were wired right.

this is the thing sensor on the firewall.
the egr valve hose plugs in on the top.

Ar'nt you saposed to swap the F22 EGR onto the h22? Maybe that could be the problem?

No you dont have to. The proper way to test the EGR is with a vacuum gauge hooked onto the EGR as I recall. The hose might be sucking but doesnt mean the diaphragm inside is moving.

ummm isnt that sensor for the secondary butterflys? If my memory serves me correct. EGR should just go to the intake mani, again I might be mistaken I got rid of all that. Dont you have that nifty vacuum diagram on your hood?

No, what you have it plugged into is for the rear mount. Looks like your car was an auto... The EGR valve plugs into the vacuum line with 16 printed on it. It comes out of the black box on the firewall.

alright i put all the black box stuff back in and put it together like it was factory on the h22 auto,, but now it takes a lil longer for the light to come on and seems when you let off the gas it bogs down a lil bit whats that about? and whyis it still on?
