Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Nate, you should note next to your listings on which parts you have and which you await to buy so people can see how close you are to getting everything you need. I suggest categorizing each post by vehicle system as well for organization, or you can sporadically post pics.

You, David and the MWCC crew give me the inspiration to keep going...keep it up. Lately, life has been busy for me, but I'm still moving along on my white accord project. I'm not moving as fast as I did in 2005/2006, but I really don't have too much more to have a running accord. Sure I can spend more time later on details like appearance, etc...but right now I'm focused on what's needed to get a running project car.

Everything looks great. i have a question though, on your probe rods, is that the name of the company or are they actually from a probe? where do you get your pistons at also. i need a built bottom end.

Oh, ok. sorry, the last part was a typo. I was wondering where to get the dhr pistons at. is there a website where i can look at both the probe rods and the dhr pistons?

The rods are made from a company called probe industries http://www.probeindustries.com

I actaully purchased my pistons from a fellow member who got them through www.dh-racing.com

which probe rods did you opt for, since the lengths on those aren't the same as the f22a, did you go shorter or longer?

I'm going with the ultralight 4340.
Here are the specs for them:

                      5.580 - center to center
                      1.890 - journal
                      .866 - pin
                      .935 - big end length

update: the head should be sent out here within a few weeks to get the porting and polishing done.

I'm planning and have scheduled for my head to be sent out to CHR end of February, just letting you know in case you want to coordinate. Keep it up Nate, I just streamlined my project to get a running car ASAP, I can add accessories later.

I would like to. I still need to give Jeff a call to finanlize things and everything should be set. I also need to package the head really WELL.

Don't skimp on the packaging at all and make sure you insure it. I shipped a B16 head that was worth $650 cross country one time and let's just say I skimped on the packaging and it didn't arrive in *pristine* condition.
