Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Yea buddy, my F22 all-motor brotha! Glad you finally made a thread for yourself. I can't wait to roll out with you and take on some people, total sleeper style!

I'd ask your dyno tuner about running an EGR block-off plate. I asked Kelly, my friend that's a mechanic, he was saying how doing that on some motors may throw off your ignition tables. Something about not need as much timing advance with an EGR valve blocked off because of differences in intake temperatures, etc.

Keep it up!! I'll get you the parts soon.

I do remember actually reading something related to that. I'll get into contact with the dyno shop and see what they have to say. If it comes down to it, I'll just keep the EGR valve on and clean out the ports really well.

                    Actually, new findings:

P06 ecu is from a 92-95 civic, which supposedly had no EGR valve. Today when red Accord was warmed up and idling, I removed vacuum hose (plugged up hose with finger) and it idled fine. I think using this chipped P06 ECU already eliminates the use of the EGR, but I'm going to put a block off plate on both cars eventually, for peace of mind in case the EGR valve goes bad.

So nevermind, go for it. Doesn't seem to make a difference. The dyno tuner at my shop said he doesn't do anything differently really between EGR vs non-EGR cars that come in. Bseries don't have EGR he said as well, so if they can run without, ours should.

Yep we can run without EGR. Just NoX emissions gonna be higher and such.

Cisco is more then likely going to be finished before me. I'm shooting around mid-end of summer to have this completed.

I'll get around to posting pics later of what I have so far.

You know I'm down for helping you out. You're not too far, just stay focused bro. Only reason Nate's going to take longer is because he's in school now, but that's a good thing. We'll get'r done. I'm doing what I can to help him get parts, etc.
