Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    jdm h22a w/ jdm h23a vtec IM

    i have been searching all over the site. but but got a deal on a 98+ jdm h23 vtec IM... how does it compare to the original h22a IM? any gains? not worried about it being obd2 or how it has the map sensor on top of the TB.. sorry if this was covered in another thread [that was hidden somewhere] lol...

    the h23 was only usdm. they never had a h23 in japan only the h22
    da9b16 is a great seller very quick shipping and great parts

        NO there was an H23 VTEC in europe in t he Wagons. The H23 VTEC in the wagons had awd and only came in an auto tranny. If it fits best bet is to compare it with the H22 IM. See if you can swap some parts over because the IAC and stuff should be different for an obd2 motor. But then most of us have not seen an H23 vtec IM so pictures would be a plus =D.

          we got the h23 while japan had the f22b.

          and i think there is a jdm h23 vtec...

            i'll take some pics tonight. it was a motor bought from attarco and the shop swaped over the old IM so i got dibs on the IM. we'll see later when i get the pics up... i believe it said h23a on the block. don't recall... [didn't care really =X ]

                    well i did some digging and found the IM gasket for the h22a.. and there is the answer to my question. a nice port match job and she will be ready to be "swaped"
