Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    when i went to get my head work done once the guy took a look at it he said dont even bother, it wouldnt help at all its smooth enough, but id still get the intake ports, and get em port matched

      I ported and polished my Euro head and installed flat top valves. It was a Night and day difference that's for sure

        yea but the f20b head is already smooth and he would have to get a 3 angle valve job done to get different valves since f20b ones are different the H22 valves both smaller and the edges are cut at more of an angle, but yea thats a good way to bump the compression even more, when i milled my block 2 thousandths the engine had more power i could tell the difference, cant wait to try out my new goddies and get rid of the e*** stuff, once i sintall my enigne this time it wont have any more crap(cheaply made) parts on it

          I totally forgot about the Valves being different. I retract my comment and say you just leave it. . Thanks AlmostJDM for the informative post..

                  if i get a 3 angle valve job, i can still use my OEM valves though, right?

                    This thread is good! im making 224 stock F20B with my "headers" & my ECU eazy on pump gas! My boss has the First after market parts for the F20B in the world" Rods/Pistons/cams

                            figured if i'm pulling the motor, might as well replace water pump, oil pump, timing belt, and do a b/s eliminator kit. So i'm going to start buying parts so when i pull the motor, i can start slapping parts on.

                            Could be a few months before it gets pulled.
