i first tried launching off my 2-step at 5k while holding the e-brake... way to much wheel spin. when i was getting my 14.4 runs i had my tires at around 30psi, and was launching at about 3600, slipping the clutch. If i had drag radials i would be high 13's i think lol

yea i thinks that will be doable if you can get you launch down not bad for a basicly stock f20b, right now with your setup if you didnt have the header id say you would be putting down the numbers of a stock f20b sirt if not that then a little higher so dang if you can get this i wonder what ill get lol though ill never find out

lol thanks guys. i dont think i need full blown slicks, just something beefier, like drag radials would do the trick i think. i just need to work on my launching also, that was only my second time at the track ever so i got lots of room for improvement

I have to set my 2 step kinda low to hook. you will get better the more you go, I like the track because you can practice safely and have numbers to let you know what works.

my 2-step is set to high, around 5,000rpm's, and on street tires thats way to high. launching around 3,500 was working out the best. I definitaly need more track time though lol

all you have to do is look it up. the stock f20b came in like a 97 chassis and ran a mid to low 15 i believe.

people in the import scene usually dont race stock motors lol. if you buy a motor to swap into a car, pretty much everyone buys performance parts for it right away.
