holy crap eli this is the reason why i dont drag or launch at 4k or even launch for that matter, i say dont half ass that tranny fix take it to a shop to be welded, then check and recheck and recheck EVERYTHING. hope ya get everything fixed

This should have never been an issue and only is due to lack of attention. If you understand the transverse layout of your motor, you would understand the front and rear mounts are the most important based on engine torque/movement front-to-back and vice versa. It is said that your tranny case fractured, such a nice tranny and for this to happen to it.

finally. had to remove the rear backet, twist and push it to the side until i had the perfect angle to squeeze the old mount out and shove the new one in. Took me quite a while to say the least. wet pavement, and hail didnt help either. but im happy. hopefully this will keep my motor from slamming into my firewall

Went to the track for the second time. sorry no video's, i was all by myself Much better results this time, i improved every single run. My best ended up being a 14.423@ 96.72. With a 2.319 sixty I feel with a 2.1 sixty footer, 13.99 is realistic. I can always hope anyways, here is a few pictures i took.
