Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

alright, i took the JG ported head and camshaft today to work (new job at machine shop)

the main man even said the porting job was pretty good.
started disassembling and found a bent valve.

                  ported chambers

after taking the carbon out of the chambers and from the bath

                  more to come, yay

did some grindin on the valves.
i need to replace 4 of them, wonder if h23's will fit. otherwise i either have to buy them or get a donor head/valves.

im also debating on getting some better valve stem seals or a cometic head gasket.

so i really think on getting performance valvetrain, possible dual spring?

4-6 point roll cage and pulling the old motor. with the old motor, going to sport he port/polished f22 head.

might be building another motor with a dual cam setup.

partial wire tuck? painted engine bay?
                            all possible suggestions.

still debating on h23 versus the f22 p/p. i can do my own p/p work here so it is only time and the h23 stuff are easier to find valve train, still using f22 bottom end unless i get a h23 for cheap.

                              here's the h23, cleaned up

only thing that is questionable would be reliability. because last time the head swap consumed oil and coolant.
but i found a couple valves were bad/worn most liikely due to high revvin.
there were also nicks in the valve stem, not good... i might just stick with the f22 because it works and i already have the camshaft and aem gear.

either way i want to mildly build a h23 head swapped motor to sell.
