Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    came to me in a dream

    ok so... i was randomly thinking about cold air intakes but i would never get one because of the crazyyyy puddles around new england. then i started to think how hot the engine bay actually gets for a short ram...(kinda random, yes)

    then i went to sleep, and had a dream i put a cold air intake in, but without a filter on the front, and not actually hooking it up to the throttle body, but cutting it short, just infront of a short ram intake(obviously with a filter).... good idea? bad idea? already been done?

    let me know
    later.

              Relocate your battery to the trunk and put the filter as far out as possible.

                  Or here is an idea just buy the cold air intake and buy a Bypass valve for it they are like 2o bucks and it will keep all that hydro out of the engine and yes they do work i have been running one for well over a year 24/7 and have had zero problems rain or shine.
