I have sold out... going DOHC... for now...

Well...

My SOHC is in a sad state...

The timing belt let go at 7k last week... ::
Took 8 valves, my adj. cam gear and the Delta 272 cam with it...

I have been pondering over what my options were and I've decided to sellout and go with the F20A DOHC just to have a running motor for my driver and work on the f20a4 sohc & f22a1 sohc at my leisure...besides the CB3 Accord 2.0 Si coolness factor is what got me...

The plan for the dohc is pretty mild... some H23 regrinds, adj gears and possibly some milling in conjunction with a little chipped P06 ECU tuning...maybe some mild port work and a valve job at a later date if I feel like it... and that's it... it's just a driver motor until I am finished with the Mad Doctor SOHC...

I have some truly ghetto... or as I like to call them, "cost effective" plans for the Mad Doctor SOHC...which will remain a mystery until they are complete...but some are truly simple things that anyone can do and some are truly custom and never been done before on an F...and I think some will be interested in the final results...

I just wanted to let y'all know that I have sold out but at the same time I am way more into seeing what I can do with the F sohc than ever before...

I am still a SOHC guy first and foremost...

Sorry to hear about the motor dude, Timing belts are one of those completely random and completely crap ways to blow an engine. My friends prelude si lost a timing belt, he paid 2g to rebuild it, then three months later it blew the timing belt again, nothing but dumb bad luck.

meh.. ill take that f20a.. whenever u deside to swap the sohc back well work something out.. meh.. about vtec bug.. i think hell strive to make the f20a dohc.. a powerful contender.. against those "Vtec motors"
