From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    custom exhaust question

    ok so i have a question.. right now i have a custom mandrel bent 2.25" exhaust with a obx dtm muffler.. now the inlet on the muffler is 2.25.. i want to upgrade my exhaust to 2.5".. now my question is could i still use the same muffler even though the inlet is 2.25"? would it make it worse or would it really matter?

    i would like to hear how those things sound. ohh give me a head up when its done, and where did you get it????

    i think if you or someone makes an adapter it should be able to fit.

      it shouldnt be that bad..... itll be a lil bit of a bottle neck obviosly but if anything itl prob only be like a 1 hp loss
