Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

i dont see why you wouldnt be able to break 15's with a modded auto, especially with the mods you are going to do, sean.

H22 can get into 13s, people just have to actually research and think of their mods, instead of flying by the seat of their pants.

Until then, my white Accord will await all you H22 swapped Accords ...toodles.

Once my car is running again, I'll be in the mid-14s. I'm hoping for 13s with my planned upgrades Next spring, if all goes well!

Hondafan81 why do you think I made this thread?(Not pickin on you XD) To get advice and suggestions, I dont want to go waste money any old parts. I want to get the ones that will make the difference . People are just starting to post about anything thats barely related "Oh the h22 this or that..." I dont want to know if the h22 can do 13's, cause I know I can, I want suggestions on whats your setup if you are running 13's or lower/what DO YOU THINK are the best mods for the money, Thanks again to people who ACTUALLY gave advice...

The only person that's not turbo or juiced running 13s or lower is 2point6. Performance is his business, so unless you pay him to work his magic, I don't think any secrets will be shared.

If you want to sleeve an H22 and run forged pistons, 13s are cake with turbo. If you want to run nitrous (with or without building the internals... without presents some risks) then you'll also be able to hit 13s easily enough.

idk more research i do the more im leaning toward nitrous, just cause money is tight with college and all and that seems to be the cheapest solution to go quick. Then again I need reliability and I dont want to run into any costly problems. Just somethin about all motor when you get it done right that makes it feel like more of a accomplishment then just hooking up a 75 shot. Then again doing a turbo buildup seems like it be pretty neat. Gah, options... all boils down to the $$$. hmmm deevergote ya got me thinkin

Don't discount the electric supercharger either... www.boosthead.com

That design is actually pretty worthwhile.

Personally, I'd do short ram intake, bored TB, ported intake manifold, most aggressive camshafts you can deal with/withstand, headwork by someone who knows how to tweak an H22 (cuz it already flows well stock), custom header and atleast 2.5" - 2.75" (talk it over on what's best). I would not bother with the bottom-end but make sure things are in order with new seals, belts, etc. Do a full tuneup on the car and clean certain parts, remove the A/C and P/S and any other weight you can remove and feel you do not need. I'd lower the car, better tires/rims, stiffen up suspension, mate a JDM H22 LSD tranny 5spd. Get the basic fuel psi guage, fuel psi reg and cam gears. Tune your shit well. If that still don't work (for whatever reason) then use nitrous.

good clutch and 8-12 lb flywheel

well personally im gonna go with usdm h22 trans, jdm h22a, with exedy stage 2 clutch, fidanza or something similar flywheel, ported head ferrea oversized valves, skunk2 titanium springs and retainers, and rocket motorsports cams, type s pistons and a slightly milled head which should get me close to 11.5:1 c/r, all tuned on hondata s200b with launch control i hope to hit 13.9 or maybe a lil bit better with a stripped car we sall see.... anybody wanna recommend a dragradial?

I'll have experience with nitto drag radials soon... they're used, but they're still usable.

same here, only thing is how much are them battery packs? Sounds like it could get expensive and weight could become a issue. idk i dont think i have the cash to go all out N/A with me going into college and all. The bottle seems like a good alternative...
