Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    dyno tune mod help

Well I have the JDM H22a. I want to try to get close to 200hp. I will be doing a full head build on the side for future plans.

Right now I am looking at getting.....
    1.skunk2 cam gears
    2.prelude type S cams
    3. adjustable fuel pressure regulator
    4.VAFC2
    5.Dyno time

Well I am looking to get exhaust too but not sure what to do with the H22. I hear doing a 2.5" collector mod w/ exhaust is good. I am not sure and want advise on this before I go spending money.

The header is a key part but with SMSP, RMF, and Hytech going for some serious cash.

I am looking for a decent street machine w/ minor mods. I want to get a fully built head. I heard of a guy pushing 230hp to the wheels with just a built head and stock block. But that is more of a long term goal. Now i want to get tuned and set.

    Any advise??

Billet New HVtec H22 RM Camshafts
        RM Custom Spark Plugs
        RM Ti Retainers
        RM Dual Super Stable Springs

RM Custom Ecu Chip (Must Send In Motor Specs for Chip)

Cam Type - Int. Duration - Int. Lift - Ex. Duration - Ex. Lift

        H22 - 284 - 12.1 - 284 -12.1
        H24X - 298 - 12.7 - 305 -12.1

I was looking to get they Rocket motorsports cams but not sure on the quality. I will be using stock valve train with this setup. I am going to be building a head for later. I can get a deal on the type S cams that is why I am looking at those just for now. I am running a P13 w/ "spoon sports" chip. It feels way quicker then stock. But for management I will be using VAFC2 for tuning.

I will possible have 2 heads for use. Being that this is california and Smog is needed. I will never pass smog with a built head possibly not even mildly built.

why wouldnt you be able to pass smog? a port job and some valves arent gonna throw things off that much... you just need a good tune job.

not sure about the smog but I want to do a fully built head w/ everything on it. I still need to find a Euro R intake manifold etc.
