The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

    what kinda of tunning must be done with cams(f22b)

    I was wondering would kind of tunning would have to be done to the engine after installing cams,springs and retainers. ? this would be on a f22b dohc.

      Im wondering if i will have tune the fuel and igniton stuff like that, or can i just install the cams,cam gears,springs and retainers, then drive, or do i have to tune the cam gears, or tune everything.

        adj. fuel pressure regulator w/ gauge, cam gears as previously mentioned, ignition updrade(ranging from ignition amp, external coils, wires and plugs).. just some mods that can help tune the car better. depending on how aggressive the profile of the cams are, tuning the motor afterwards is very important to reach maximum hp out of the motor.

          There is no such thing as just dropping in parts and going. In order to see the most potnetial out of your aftermarket additions, you will have to do some ignition and fuel tuning. Since you are letting the engine take in more air with the aftermarket cams, you need to feed it more fuel.
